BALLER MOVE: WR3/Flex in 10-12 team leagues

ANALYSIS: It has been an offensive clinic for teams playing the San Diego Chargers this season. But, despite a 2-6 start, the Chargers have found the end zone quite often as well, scoring 20 or more points in six of their eight games. Expect Stevie Johnson to have an increased role this week against the Chicago Bears, especially with Keenan Allen set to miss the rest of the season.
Johnson has definitely cooled off since scoring a touchdown in each of the Charger's first two games, but he is a viable option at receiver. According to Team Rankings, the Chargers throw the ball 66% of the time, a stat likely to continue increasing with the underachieving play of running back, Melvin Gordon. The Chargers haven't had a 100-yard rusher all season.
On a team that relies heavily on Philip Rivers' arm, facing a vulnerable Bears secondary, Johnson will likely see close to, if not more than, eight targets; his season high. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Chicago Bears have given up the tenth most fantasy points to wide receivers this season. Johnson did leave last weeks game with a shoulder injury, before returning, so keep an eye on his status during the week before entering him into your starting lineup. Johnson was a 1000-yard receiver three years in a row with the Buffalo Bills. The veteran has plenty of speed left in his aging legs.
