Stephen Strasburg will make at least one more rehab start with Triple-A Syracuse on Monday before rejoining the Nationals, according to The Washington Post.
Strasburg has been battling an oblique injury that will force him to miss over a month of action. The right-hander’s last start was on 4th of July when he was forced to leave a game against the San Francisco Giants 3 2/3 innings in after allowing one hit and no runs.

Even without Strasburg, the Nationals have been able to lead the National League East. They currently hold a two-game lead over the New York Mets, as both teams play a big weekend series in New York.
Strasburg, 27, hasn’t had that good of a season this year. The power pitcher has a 5.16 ERA and a 5-5 record in 13 starts. The former first overall draft pick has been one of the better NL pitchers throughout this five-year career but he just hasn’t found his form this year.
