BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues as Backup / All Keeper Leagues
Owned in 21% of Fleaflicker Leagues
ANALYSIS: Teddy Bridgewater will make his first career start Sunday at home against the Falcons. The rookie made his debut last week at New Orleans, completing 12 of his 20 passes for 150 yards. He also carried the ball six times for 27 yards. He has the potential to be a serious fantasy threat, as he can use both his arm and his legs as weapons.
Currently he is only worth starting in leagues that run with two quarterbacks, and even then you may want to give him a week or two to prove himself. That said, he is definitely worthy of a backup QB spot in 12- or 14-team leagues, and perhaps shallower leagues if he performs. Assuming you can afford to use a roster spot, the former Louisville standout is worth a stash in keeper or dynasty leagues as he begins to get acclimated with the league. I am all in on Teddy Bridgewater. Hopefully the Vikings are, too.
