It didn't quite happen last week, but I know that somebody on this list is going to explode after I recommend cutting him. Just a little disclaimer. That being said, we are about to enter June. The summer is almost here and it's no time to waste roster space on bums.
Here is a list of some guys with whom you shouldn't waste your time, as we head into Week 9 of the fantasy baseball season.

Week 9 Players to Consider Cutting
1) Starlin Castro (NYY, 2B/SS)
I'm not usually in the habit of cutting guys that are MI eligible. However, Castro has fallen off drastically after a hot start. He will still display occasional power, but his average is now down to .251. Not only that, but his runs and RBI totals are pretty low too. Those in deeper leagues may not want to cut bait yet, but owners in 12 or less team leagues should move on.
2) Yasmany Tomas (ARI, 3B/OF)
The Diamondbacks are a mess when it comes to how they distribute playing time. It's hard for these guys to get into a rhythm. This includes Yasmany Tomas. He has a nice total when it comes to runs scored, but his other stats are thoroughly unimpressive. His 3B eligibility is what's keeping him on many rosters, but there have to be better options out there. If you're strapped for runs in a deeper league, keep him. I wouldn't hesitate to kick him to the curb if need be though.
3) Tyler Duffey (MIN, SP)
I was swooning over Duffey's curveball but it looks like he is still relatively hittable. His last two starts have been subpar, and that makes him pretty droppable in my opinion. His offense won't back him up much, so if he's not providing decent ratios he won't help your team much. Keep him on your watch lists, but it's safe to cut him.
4) Julio Urias (LAD, SP)
Relax guys, I'm not saying the kid is a bust or anything. He was optioned back to AAA after his rough start against the Mets, and those in redrafts really don't need to hang on to him. Those in keeper or dynasty leagues can ignore this, as we all know Urias could turn into a stud one day in the not so distant future. In redrafts though, there is no point in rostering him for now unless the rosters are very deep.
5) Yordano Ventura (KC, SP)
Remember when Ventura was a can't miss prospect like Urias? Good times. Unfortunately, the diminutive hurler has been a problem for the Royals and fantasy owners alike. Ventura is sporting an ugly 5.17 ERA and 1.53 WHIP. On top of that, he's only struck out 38 batters in 55.2 IP. If you haven't cut him yet, do so fast.
Hot Seat
So these are some guys you shouldn't cut just yet, but who would be the first to go on most rosters if you need to add someone else.
1) Carlos Correa (HOU, SS)
I'm going for bold here so go easy on me. Correa is on the hot seat in the hopes my reverse jinx takes effect and he starts going berserk. That said, if he continues to struggle, I wouldn't blame anyone in a redraft league for cutting him. It can't be for just anyone obviously, but if there's a viable replacement out there go for it. Obviously do this only if you're desperate because Correa has the potential to make you pay big time if he turns it around.
2) Gio Gonzalez (WAS, SP)
Gio got off to a nice start and made many people wonder if he could repeat his success from a few years ago. Well, his last two starts have been mediocre. Don't jump ship just yet, but it's time to start getting the lifeboats ready. Pitching in the NL East may salvage his value, although streaming might be a better option if Gonzo continues to scuffle.
