Generally, dynasty leagues allow as many keepers as each team pleases, while having a draft that is filled with rookies and free agents. It’s impossible to know what free agents will be available in everyone’s leagues, so these rankings are only for rookies.

Tier 1 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
1) Josh Doctson
2) Corey Coleman
3) Sterling Shepard
4) Laquon Treadwell
5) Mike Thomas
This is a great tier of rookie receivers. Each of these players will contribute at some point this season, and they all possess great talent. Doctson leads the way because of his pure upside. He could become a red zone target for the Redskins before taking over as their best wide receivers for the next 10 years.
Treadwell’s position may come as a shock. This has much more to do with his situation than his talent. The Vikings seem content with Teddy Bridgewater at quarterback, which could really limit Treadwell for the time being.
Shepard and Thomas are both second round picks, but they have been put in great situations, which will help them produce immediately. They also have loads of upside for their careers, which is why they were placed into the best tier.
Tier 2 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
6) Tajae Sharpe
7) Will Fuller
8) Leonte Carroo
9) Tyler Boyd
10) Malcolm Mitchell
This tier is more based on potential upside than immediate production, and that’s the big difference between most of the guys in the first tier. All of these players have the ability to become starters in the NFL, but that may not come until later this season. They also aren’t going to be leaned on heavily in their respective offenses, which is why they were dropped a bit.
Tier 3 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
11) Pharoh Cooper
12) Rashard Higgins
13) Braxton Miller
14) Michael Thomas
15) Jordan Payton
16) Demarcus Robinson
17) Kolby Listenbee
18) Ricardo Louis
19) Kenny Lawler
20) Charone Peake
This is a massive tier. There are 11 players in it, and that’s because everyone in this tier has the ability to become good fantasy options. With that being said, none of these players will every become stars on their teams.
Sharpe is someone that should be pointed out in this tier. He was making waves early in the Titans training camp, and Dorial Green-Beckham was recently traded, which will open up more opportunities for Sharpe to see the field. Still, there are plenty of receivers ahead of him on his team, which is why he belongs in this tier.
Tier 4 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
21) Daniel Braverman
22) Chris Moore
23) Jakeem Grant
24) Aaron Burbridge
25) Keyarris Garrett
26) Roger Lewis
27) Devin Lucien
These are all players that may not see the field immediately in their careers, but they have enough talent to get an opportunity at some point in their careers. Of the group, Grant sticks out the most because he will make the team as a special teamer, which will help him get on the field.
Moore was also a fairly high draft pick, but he is buried on the depth chart right now. Again, these guys are going to be dynasty holds over players that will give any production immediately.
Tier 5 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
28) Mortiz Boehringer
29) Marquez North
30) Cody Core
31) Mitch Mathews
32) Demarcus Ayers
33) Trevor Davis
34) Devin Fuller
35) Keenan Reynolds
36) Tyreek Hill
37) Devon Cajuste
38) Cayleb Jones
This is a tough tier to judge. Most of these players will go undrafted in your leagues, but they do carry upside if they are able to get on the field. With that being said, most of these players won’t see the field for the next couple of seasons, and they are extremely risky options on their teams. They can be held in the deepest of dynasty leagues.
Tier 6 – Rookie Wide Receiver Rankings
39) Jalin Marshall
40) Byron Marshall
41) Jay Lee
42) Nelson Spruce
43) Hunter Sharp
44) D’haquille Williams
45) Jaydon Mickens
46) J. Maye
47) Dom Williams
As is the case with the last tier, these guys come with a lot of risk. The expression throwing darts is a good way to put it. They all have their own ways of getting on the field, but that likely is not going to happen, which is why they come with so much risk.
