ANALYSIS: The Hawks are rebuilding, and the loss of Kyle Korver should open up more opportunities for Tim Hardaway Jr. to become fantasy relevant— even though Mike Dunleavy plays a similar role to that of Korver, he likely won’t play as many minutes.
In his last five games, Hardaway has averaged 17.2 PTS with 3.6 3PM on 55.4 FG% and 60.0 FT%, 3.4 REB, 2.0 AST, 0.4 STL, 0.4 blocks and 1.0 TO in 26.2 minutes a night. Of course, it's not expected of him to keep up this kind of production the rest of the way, but with increased minutes following Korver's departure, he could put up solid lines worthy of a roster spot in deeper leagues. If Paul Millsap or Thabo Sefolosha were to also be traded, that would open up even more room and court time for Hardaway.
