BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
OWNED IN: 36% of leagues
ANALYSIS: New York Mets third baseman Todd Frazier is part of a resurgent Mets lineup and has eight home runs and four stolen bases in the second half. Posting a .474 slugging percentage since August 2, Frazier had two home runs last week and has routinely been hitting either fourth or fifth in the Mets lineup. The 32-year-old only has two multi-hit games this month, but does have five extra-base hits in 44 plate appearances.
While he has a 44.4% hard hit ball rate this month, his BABIP is only .200, showing that he has been truly unlucky. A 48.1% FB rate with that kind of hard hit ball rate should yield more than a 15.4% HR/FB rate and his average should also be higher than its .200 mark.
Considering that Frazier has been unlucky, and can help with power and speed, he is a nice addition in all leagues. If he is able to see his average rise, he will be able to make a difference in the last weeks of the season.
