BALLER MOVE: Target Around ~120 Overall

ANALYSIS: I distinctly remember the moment Ezekiel Elliott was ruled inactive in Week 15 of the 2020 season. All week, I had been advising fantasy managers to bench Zeke. Then, suddenly, every single start/sit question I was asked had the same answer: "Don't care who the other guy is, you're starting Tony Pollard." 132 yards, six receptions, and two touchdowns later, we finally were able to see tangible evidence of how well Pollard would function in a primary role.
Unfortunately, the Cowboys paid Zeke a boatload of money and are committed to getting their money's worth. Despite Pollard's overall RB1 performance, he went right back to the bench the following week. That is Pollard's plight once again. He is the best backup running back in the league from a fantasy perspective and should be drafted in all formats simply because he's a league winner if Zeke gets hurt.
Unlike other backups, it's unlikely Pollard can play his way into relevance because the Cowboys are never going to give up on Zeke. Take Pollard as your RB4, and understand he's not startable while Zeke is healthy, but know the upside. Pollard has could be an exciting lead back if pressed into duty, and is a fine late-round flier and bench stash. Given that most backup running backs get picked at the end of fantasy drafts, Pollard is an easy pick to make with upside to return some real value under the right circumstances.
