ANALYSIS: Before you go ahead and try to add Tony Pollard to your roster, consider Pollard for what he's more than not: Ezekiel Elliot's partner-in-crime and no more than an RB2/replacement with random-week upside for more. That being said, Pollard has been great on the opportunities he's been handed and the only thing keeping him out of the field in favor of Zeke is the money Dallas put on the latter's pockets not long ago.
Although Pollard has yet to play more than 40 percent of Dallas' offensive snaps in a single game, he's done a lot with his spare touches and opportunities. Pollard has three 10+ PPR games this season, including two in the past four weeks. Pollard can do it all and brings both rushing and pass-catching upside to the table. He's carrying the ball an average of 7 times per game during the last four weeks rushing for 33+ yards per game and he has scored a TD once (W11). He added another score (this one receiving) this past Sunday, his first reception for a touchdown of the year.
If Zeke goes down for any reason, Pollard could very well win you the league. No joke. The Cowboys face a tough defense next (San Francisco, 5th-best against fantasy RBs) but then go against Philly (12th) and the Giants (24th). If you are part of a super-deep league, Pollard can give you RB3 points weekly on his current role, but if he gets that RB1 role due to Zeke's falling injured he has the upside to turn into a top-tier rusher.
