Welcome back RotoBallers to our weekly fantasy baseball prospect rankings. Last week was an unexpected one on several fronts with regards to prospects. Ezequiel Duran, Braxton Garrett, Travis Swaggerty, Gabriel Moreno, and Shane Baz were all promoted to the major leagues and are currently playing there and are not on the list.
Additionally, players who are playing in the minors but graduated from prospect status will also not be in the rankings.
For those who are not familiar, below you will find our updated list of the top-25 fantasy baseball prospects rankings to make an impact for the 2022 fantasy baseball season, which RotoBaller will be updating weekly. You’ll find quite a few well-known prospects on the list — as well as some lesser-known players that could nonetheless provide key contributions to your fantasy league teams this season. As always, this weekly list is updated to reflect rest-of-season fantasy baseball values, and near-term impacts that these MLB prospects can make.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #1-5
With Shane Baz called up, Riley Greene is now No. 1 on the list. Greene is batting .292 with one home run, five RBI, nine runs scored, and two steals in 12 Triple-A games played. He could get called up any day.
I can't quit Vinnie Pasquantino. At some point, he will have to move down but he is deserving of a shot. He has a .286 average with a .345 ISO and a 13.6% strikeout rate.
C.J. Abrams is now batting .302 with five home runs and seven steals in 25 games played in Triple-A. His strikeout rate is just 15.1% as well.
Oneil Cruz is also turning things around. His average is up to .236, he has nine home runs and 11 steals in 49 games played. In the last 30 days, he is hitting .292 with seven home runs, and in the last two weeks, he is hitting .333 with two home runs and one steal. He should be playing at the major league level. If he isn't called up by the end of June, this might turn into a Bobby Witt Jr. situation from last year.
Jarren Duran finds himself still in Triple-A even after Enrique Hernandez got injured... because when position players get optioned, they have to stay in the minors for at least 10 days. There are several teams he would be playing at the major league level for.
In this tier, I feel like any of these players could get called up, stay at the big league level and contribute. It's just a matter of their teams seeing it that way too.
Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #6-10
Not a lot of changes in 6-10 this week. Caleb Kilian could come back up soon as the Cubs may need him. In his most recent start in Triple-A, he got lit up, so they could also pass.
Triston Casas continues to be injured but the latest update is that he should be back soon. He hasn't played since May 17th.
This group also has the talent but has either been injured or in a log jam making it difficult to come up.
Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #11-16
There is a little bit of a shake-up here. Josh Lowe's overall strikeout rate remains high, however, in the last two weeks, he has hit .333 with one home run, five doubles, and three stolen bases. His strikeout rate was just 18% over that span.
Brayan Bello continues to get some buzz. In 28.1 innings pitched at Triple-A, he has a 2.71 xFIP and a 35.9% strikeout rate. The 10.3% walk rate is concerning for him.
Darick Hall might be someone that could help the Phillies, especially if another bat goes down. He has 15 home runs, four steals, a .344 OBP, and .262 ISO in 59 Triple-A games this season.
Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings #17-25
Will these guys play at the major league level this year? Your guess is as good as mine. These are guys that may or may not get called up this year, but overall I do not see making a large impact outside of being a short-term injury call-up or someone brought up with expanded rosters.
As talked about before, Nick Pratto could end up getting called up before Vinnie Pasquantino due to the fact that he is on the 40-man roster.
Max Meyer threw a simulated game. He is going to get back to pitching in real games soon. Will we see his major league debut this season though?
Honorable Mentions: Ryan Pepoit, SP; Korey Lee, C; Michael Busch, 2B; Pedro Leon, SS/OF; Cade Cavalli, SP; Jared Koenig, SP; David Villar 3B; Oswald Peraza, SS; Hunter Brown;
