Travis Shaw (1B/3B, MIL) - Waiver Wire Adds

BALLER MOVE: Add in 10-12+ Team Leagues

OWNED IN: 47% of Yahoo Leagues

ANALYSIS: Last call on Travis Shaw. With his ownership rate climbing to around 50%, he will soon be owned in most competitive 10-12+ team leagues. He's probably not winning any leagues, but given his hot start he's worth an add in most formats.

Shaw has had an excellent start to the 2017 season, hitting .357 in the extremely small four-game sample. All five of his hits have gone for extra bases (four doubles, one home run), flashing some of that nice pop early this season. Shaw has five RBI and two runs so far, and he fits nicely into the fourth or fifth spot in a surprisingly powerful Brewer lineup.

With the Brewers set to play in quite a few high-scoring games, Shaw is a nice option who can play either first base or third base. Shaw isn’t the highest ceiling player out there on the waiver wire, but his floor is as high as any. He stays healthy, he’s guaranteed a spot in the lineup, and can be productive for fantasy owners.
