Analysis: As his brother Klay is currently on his way to the NBA Finals with the Warriors, Trayce Thompson is making a nice splash in his own right for the Dodgers in 2016. In just 106 AB so far Thompson has seven HR and an impressive slash line of .274/.336/.528. These figures are eerily similar and consistent to his 2015 figures with the White Sox in which he hit five HR and had a slash of .295/.363/.533 in just 122 late-season at bats. Given that he has just 228 total major league at bats, it's important to examines his minor league numbers see if his hot start could be for real. Not only are those numbers consistent, but he may be holding out on us. Thompson spent all of 2012, 2013, and 2014 in the minors, hitting 25, 15, and 16 HR. He also showed great speed, stealing 25, 21, and 20 bases in those years. Trust in Thompson's power, athleticism, and freaky family genetics and add him to your roster before it is too late.
