BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: Trevor Plouffe is like a quad-A fantasy player. Good enough for all deep leagues, but not quite good enough for shallow leagues. While the batting average does not impress, he will pop a few homeruns for you and as the #3 hitter in a better-than-expected Twins lineup, he'll have plenty of RBI and R opportunities. He probably will not hit 30 homesruns at any point in the near future, but few waiver wire options will. He is very streaky and when he gets hot he can hit 5 homeruns in a week and drive in double digit runs that week. This season Plouffe has okay numbers. The average is on par with the rest of his career at .244, the power isn't there yet with only 5 HR, but he has 33 RBIs, which is a very nice number. He also has 19 doubles this season which means the power is there and with some good luck some of them will turn to homeruns. If you need lightning in a bottle I think adding Plouffe is a good gamble for deeper leagues.
