BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 20% Yahoo Leagues
ANALYSIS: Welcome to the show, Trey Mancini. Not only are you mashing, but you are also officially outfield eligible in some fantasy baseball formats (with five games played at the position).
So far this year, the rookie masher has slugged five home runs with 11 RBI in just 35 at bats. That's good for a .286/.346/1.067 slash line. Last year he only had 14 at bats, but he batted .357 with three home runs as well. The power seems legit, as he hit 20 bombs with a .282 average in the minors last year before getting called up, and hit 21 bombs with a .341 average in 2015.
The .457 ISO clearly won't last, but the .250 BABIP is a good sign. It should be interesting to see how he performs over the next few weeks. At this point Mancini is only 20% owned, and that's way too low for a player that's hit eight home runs in his first 49 major league at bats. Grab him off the waiver wire, for a low-risk high-upside play.
