Troy Tulowitzki had a fantastic debut with the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday when he slugged a home run, hit two doubles, and drove in three runs while scoring three runs in a win against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Tulowitzki, 30, started at shortstop and actually led off with the Jays in his debut. He went 3-for-5 in his successful debut. Toronto did what it does best by scoring eight runs in the victory, and Tulowitzki did his part in helping.
Tulowitzki now has 13 HR on the year with 56 RBI along with a .305 average.
The Blue Jays will play eight more games at home, which will start with four games against the American League-leading Kansas City Royals on Thursday after a split with the Phillies.
