BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 17% of leagues
ANALYSIS: Tyler O'Neill, who was traded to the Cardinals for starting pitcher Marco Gonzales, brings tons of raw power potential with him to the big leagues. O'Neill, still only 22, abused Triple-A pitching before getting called up this season, launching 13 home runs in 29 games and posting a .708 slugging average.
O'Neill has already shown that his power will translate to the bigs. He's hit three home runs in 22 plate appearances for the Cardinals - all three coming in the last three games (including one tonight). Beware that he might ding your batting average, as he has some swing-and-miss in his game (minors K% in the 20-25% range). But he could also hit 20-plus home runs this season, and makes for an intriguing waiver wire pickup with upside.
