BALLER MOVE: Add in 12+ Team/Two-QB Leagues
OWNED IN: 49% of Yahoo! Leagues
ANALYSIS: After a one-week absence from the starting lineup as the Bills turned to rookie Nathan Peterman (who threw five interceptions before being benched), Tyrod Taylor returned for Week 12. Taylor didn't throw for many yards in Buffalo's 16-10 win over the Chiefs, but he managed to avoid turning the ball over and threw for a touchdown. Taylor has only thrown three interceptions all season, which helps him avoid some of the downside presented by other quarterbacks. His three rushing touchdowns are an added bonus for fantasy owners.
Taylor does present downside that makes him tough to trust in smaller leagues--he's thrown for multiple scores just three times all season and has a pair of games without a single touchdown--but he's a solid addition in larger leagues. This is an especially good time to consider Taylor when his upcoming schedule is factored in, with two games against New England and one against the Colts. With the Bills once again in the thick of the playoff hunt, Taylor's role as the starting quarterback seems pretty concrete for the foreseeable future. Don't expect him to be benched for Nathan Peterman again.
