BALLER MOVE: Add in Deeper Leagues
ANALYSIS: If you are in a deeper league, or are struggling with your starting pitching and are looking for some pitching help, Tyson Ross is an option to consider off the waiver wire. After allowing only 1 ER over 7 IP with 7 K vs. 1 BB versus a potent Detroit lineup, Ross now owns a respectable season stat line of 3.12 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, and 16 K over 17 1/3 IP. Don't forget that he pitches in a pitcher-friendly ballpark, and last year put up a very solid stat line of 3.17 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 119 K over 125 IP. He won't get you many wins playing for San Diego, but can be a serviceable SP for fantasy leagues. If you need the pitching help, feel free to grab him off the waiver wire.
