BALLER MOVE: Add in 14-Team Leagues

ANALYSIS: Sixth-year vet (already!?) Grizzly Tyus Jones has started every game since Ja Morant went down injured at the end of the 2020 calendar year. From that day on, Jones has logged five starts at the point and averaged almost 28.5 MPG of playing time in which he's putting up an 8-2-6 average line. That doesn't scream must-add, I know, but Jones keeps starting games and although Morant is closer to returning than it looked like at first, Ja should still miss another week of games at the very least.
Jones has dished out 6+ dimes in three of his five starts for the Grizzlies, topping at 12 on Jan. 1st against Charlotte. It is not realistic to expect the point getting double-digit assists on a nightly basis, but he's established himself at a 7+ average for the past four games through Thursday and that mark should remain there in more games than not.
A slight increase in shots would be delightful, though, as he's just attempting 7.8 FGA on the season and 8.4 since he became the starting point guard even though he's shooting a good 44.4% from the floor in his past five games. Jones is more of a safe play for GMs in deep leagues than anything else, but the fact that he's starting games with no true competition at the position until Morant is back is reason enough to roster him in those formats.
