BALLER MOVE: Add in Deep Leagues
ANALYSIS: In 2013 Jimenez recorded 13 wins, 194 Ks, and a 3.30 ERA for the Cleveland Indians. He was a stud all year and especially in the second half. Coming into this season there was hope for Jimenez which makes me wonder why he wasn't owned in more leagues, but it seems the mistrust was deserved. This season he has compiled a 2-6 record, a near 5.00 ERA, and less than a 2:1 strikeout to walk ratio. In short, he has stunk. Being the optimist that I am though, Jimenez had strung together a five starts from Easter to Mother's day where he gave up a total of eight earned runs over those five starts, so there is some hope for him. In Thursday's start vs. Houston, he was filthy, striking out 8 over 6 IP and allowing only 1 run. I don't think he is done and have recently seen evidence that he still has something in the tank so I'd take a chance for a start or two if the matchups are high quality.
