Vernon Davis Still Has Some Gas in the Tank

ANALYSIS: After going two straight games without a reception, Vernon Davis caught four passes for 61 yards  against a Seahawks secondary that has struggled against tight ends lately. While the 2013 version of Davis that hauled in 13 touchdowns has not returned, he is one of the better waiver wire adds at a thin position. This week, Davis goes up against a Rams defense that just allowed Gary Barnidge to collect 101 yards. Given the limited tight end options, Davis could be worth a shot to pick up 60 yards and a touchdown.
