When it comes to fantasy football there are always a lot of unknowns. But one thing that's starting to become a certainty is Victor Cruz's availability (or lack there of). The wide receiver has been ruled out yet again.
Cruz is officially out indefinitely with no timetable for a return. Considering the team has yet to place him on injured reserve, coach Tom Coughlin must believe Cruz will eventually return to the football field this season. But nobody seems to know when that will be.
Other than Odell Beckham, the only receiver of note for the Giants is Rueben Randle. He can be considered a risky WR3 against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
Quarterback Eli Manning will feed the football to Beckham as much as possible, but Randle should receive at least five targets per game as long as Cruz is out.
I'd continue to hold onto Cruz in fantasy football leagues for a couple more weeks. However, if there's a can't-miss free agent, I wouldn't blame you if you dropped him in redraft leagues.
