Quarterback Value Pick for Week 14
Brian Hoyer ($4,100): Brian Hoyer will be the ultimate value play this week after being benched for Johnny Manziel last week. However, Hoyer was given the starting nod for week 14 and has a favorable matchup against the Colts. Outside of last week when he was pulled and week seven against Jacksonville, Hoyer has been over 10 fantasy points in every game this season including back to back 300+ yard passing games in weeks 11 and 12. With top receiver Josh Gordon back in the fold it would not be surprising for Cleveland to put up 250 passing yards and 2 touchdowns which blows out his near minimum salary. The only downside with this pick is the possibility of early struggles leading to another appearance for Manziel.
Running Back Value Picks for Week 14
RB: Andre Williams ($4,500): Williams has taken a back seat to Rashad Jennings in recent weeks, however Jennings is looking doubtful to play this week with an ankle injury. Williams did a respectable job in the lead role this year with five games over 11 fantasy points in which he scored a touchdown in each. Although he is not a receiving ace, Williams does have five straight games with at least one reception with adds to his value. With Eli Manning struggling with consistency, Williams might be leaned on to move the offense this week against Tennessee.
RB: Marion Grice ($3,300): Ultra productive but recently struggling running back Andre Ellington is likely out this week which should open the door for Marion Grice to see a huge boost in touches. Last week in limited touches Grice averaged 3.2 yards per carry but that game saw Arizona get down quickly and abandon the run game early. Drew Stanton has failed to live up to the expectations set by Carson Palmer and with Larry Fitzgerald also banged up the team may have no option but to go run heavy. Grice only has 11 carries this year, but with early word out of Arizona that he would get the start it will be hard to avoid a starting running back in any role for such a low price.
Wide Receiver Value Picks for Week 14
WR: Eddie Royal ($3,400): The Chargers take on a New England team that strives to take away the other team’s top options and forcing secondary options to beat them. That played out to perfection last week as number three receiver Davante Adams had 6 receptions and 121 yards along with a drop on an easy touchdown pass. That role this week will fall to Eddie Royal who busted out last week with an impressive 10 targets, 9 receptions, 81 yards and a touchdown. Despite five straight weeks with three or fewer receptions, Philip Rivers has connected with Royal 15 times over the last two weeks. Look for that to continue on Sunday night in San Diego.
WR: Kenny Stills ($4,800): Stills has certainly taken over the role of play making receiver with the injury to Brandon Cooks. The last two weeks have seen Stills combine for 13 receptions, 260 yards and a touchdown. Those games came against Baltimore and Pittsburgh who have shown more on defense than this week’s opponent for the Saints in the Panthers. As has always been the case, Drew Brees and company love to play in the Superdome and Stills is the player who has ascended to the top of his list recently.

Tight End Value Pick for Week 14
TE: Tim Wright ($4,800): The last six weeks have seen Tim Wright post 19.50, 7.10, 18.90, 7.20, 20.60 and 2.20 fantasy points. If form holds that means Wright should be in for a huge game against the Chargers on Sunday night. Even with Rob Gronkowski on the opposite side of him, Wright has still received plenty of looks from Tom Brady. He is a bit of a gamble because you could end up with a dud of a night, but for just $4,800 Wright is capable of a 20+ point fantasy night.
Defense Value Pick for Week 14
DEF: Titans ($2,400): As we spoke about with Andre Williams, the Giants are a bit of a mess on offense. Eli Manning has 12 interceptions on the year and outside of Odell Beckham Jr. has almost no reliable weapons. After allowing Jacksonville to get two defensive touchdowns last week it is hard to argue against a Tennessee team that is near minimum salary and is a virtual lock to get a few turnovers and sacks.
