Week 4 Kicker (K) Streamers and Starts: 2015 Fantasy Tiers & Rankings

It's Week 4 RotoBallers and we're obsessing over place kickers again! Yes, that’s right – kickers. After all, points are points, and even though kickers are very difficult to predict for fantasy points week to week, having the right one in your Week 4 lineup could be a difference maker.

We're here to give you that life changing analysis you so dearly covet, and help make your kicker start/sit and streaming decisions for Week 4. Who doesn't need a little help making those dreaded lineup decisions a bit easier, especially in the fantasy leg department?

This season we are going to narrow down our tiers to the Top 15 kickers broken down into three tiers. Some of these kickers may have good Week 4 matchups, and be available on your league’s waiver wire, so don't sleep on your chance to cash in a few extra points via the leg.

Week 4 Kickers To Start & Stream: Tiers & Rankings

Tier 1 NFL Kickers: Denver Broncos (Brandon McManus), Baltimore Ravens (Justin Tucker), New York Giants (Josh Brown), Chicago Bears (Robbie Gould), Seattle Seahawks (Steven Hauschka)

Brandon "The Big Leg On Campus" McManus has proven over the first three weeks of NFL action that he is in fact the greatest leg on earth (based on overall scoring and PFF ratings), by hitting a whopping three 50+ yarders already. He's a must start in Week 4 versus the Vikings at home and gets our #1 leg of the week designation.

Next up is Giants great Josh "Kosh B'gosh" Brown who faces off against the Bills on the road, a team that is allowing the eleventh most points to fantasy kickers through 3 weeks. He can be used confidently until further notice.

Robert Paul Gould III gets a home start versus the Raiders who have allowed the sixth most fantasy points to opposing legs. Don't leave him on the bench or waiver wire as he has enough leg to go around, already knocking in two 50+ yarders. Steven Hauschka is rounding into Pro Bowl leg form as we enter Week 4. He gets a favorable home matchup against the average Lions defense that allows 8.5 fantasy points per game, so we like his chances of doing big things.

Rounding out the cream of the kicking crop for Week 4 is Ravens great Justin "Time" Tucker. He grades out as PFF's seventh best place kicker and faces off against the Roethlisberger-less Steelers on the road Thursday night. We still like his chances to score 10+ fantasy points as he is currently the fifth leading leg in fantasy football.
Tier 2 NFL Kickers: Atlanta Falcons (Matt Bryant), Dallas Cowboys (Dan Bailey), Green Bay Packers (Mason Crosby), Buffalo Bills (Dan Carpenter), Carolina Panthers (Graham Gano)

Matt "AARP" Bryant has lived through the women's suffrage movement and Johnny Unitas' rookie season, but in Week 4 of NFL action he takes his social security benefits card to work at home versus the Texans average defense versus the fantasy leg.

Dan "The Man" Bailey graces the NFL record books every time he attempts a field goal, but those have not been bountiful thus far in 2015. He draws a road start versus a Saint defense that is allowing the fifth most fantasy points to opposing kickers.

Mason "Betha" Crosby gets a stingy 49ers defense versus kickers, and has to take his show on the road, thereby demoting him to the second tier for Week 4. Graham "Don't Ya Know" Gano is in the top 10 of kicker scoring for 2015 and gets PFF's 4th overall rating thus far. We are tepid about his road matchup versus the Buccaneers tough defense versus kickers, but he is definitely entrenched in our top 15 until further notice.

Dan "The Forgotten Man" Carpenter hosts the New York Football Giants in western New York and should not be slept on considering he is the eighth leading scorer at the kicker position, and the G-men are allowing an average of 8 points per game.
Tier 3 NFL Kickers: St. Louis Rams (Greg Zuerlein), Oakland Raiders (Sebastian Janikowski), Jacksonville Jaguars (Jason Myers), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Kyle Brindza), Arizona Cardinals (Chandler Catanzaro)

Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein starts off tier three and draws a road matchup versus the kicker friendly Cardinals. Arizona has allowed the second most points per week to fantasy legs giving up a healthy 14 per game on average. Start Legatron with supreme confidence as he currently grades out as the NFL's fifth best kicker.

Youngster Jason Myers takes his highly rated leg on the road to face the Colts in Week 4. Indy gives up the ninth most points on average to fantasy kickers, so employ this young man with a smile if needed. Fellow neophyte Kyle Brindza gets to host the Panthers at home in Week 4 as the Buccaneers try to give him plenty of opportunities versus a tough Carolina defense.

Chandler "Bing" Catanzaro made us proud in Week 3 as he put up 9 points versus a tough 49ers defense versus kickers. In Week 4, he gets a slightly easier task as he'll take snaps versus the Rams defense that has allowed an average of 9 fantasy points per contest to opposing legs. Use him as a DFS sleeper on Fanduel or waiver wire replacement for Cody Parkey.

Last but never least, our boy Sebby Janikowski is having a renaissance start to the 2015 campaign as the Raiders offense is firing on all cylinders, and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. In Week 4 the former first round draft pick, and Davis family love child, will surely earn his fantasy weight in gold by taking his enormous leg to the unfriendly confines of Chicago's Soldier Field. The Bears are only allowing 6.5 fantasy points to kickers, but we truly believe that "Seabass" can return higher value and should be more widely owned than he currently is. Feel free to stream the "Polish Cannon" into your DFS lineups or scoop him off the waiver wire to give you that leggy edge you may need in Week 4.
PFF Kicker Ratings
If you don't see someone who's leg you adore in this week's article, you can assume we view them as having a less favorable matchup than our top choices for Week 4. Good luck streaming and dreaming RotoBallers and may the leg be with you.
