Rondale Moore was supposed to be a bigger part of the Arizona Cardinals offense in 2022. The 5’7" receiver out of Purdue was going to help replace DeAndre Hopkins to start the season. With fellow gadget man Marquise Brown opposite him, he would have solid numbers from Kyler Murray.
With this production, many in fantasy drafts were taking him in hopes of having a budget-priced WR 3. Instead, Moore is going to miss Week 1 and longer after being injured during the preseason.
So, what now? Will he play in Week 2, and if so what is his fantasy football outlook?

Is Rondale Moore Injured or Playing in Week 2?
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Rondale Moore (hamstring) missed another day of practice on Thursday. Moore injured his hamstring in practice leading up to the season-opening loss against the Kansas City Chiefs and was inactive in that game.
He's trending toward another inactive this Sunday.
Should I Hold Onto or Drop Rondale Moore for Fantasy Football?
Lucky for you and everyone else, the WR position is deep. While Moore may not help you this week, he could soon. So, dropping him is not necessary. If you can get by this week, he will return, and you could still get some value from him.
After a Week 1 game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Cardinals head to Las Vegas to take on the Raiders in Week 2 -- a team with a decent pass rush but not much in the secondary. It could be a momentous week for him to finally show his value. This means if you can keep him. do so. You may just be rewarded for your patience next week.
In Week 3, the Cardinals face another challenge in the defending Super Bowl winner Los Angeles Rams. Despite how the Rams looked on Thursday against the Buffalo Bills, they should still be considered the favorites to win the NFC West division and come out of the NFC once again.
Matthew Stafford played a terrible game and the Cardinals do not have the defensive horses the way the Bills did. This could make it another shaky week for Moore if he is able to play in this one.
Rondale Moore Fantasy Football Outlook
As for the entire season, Moore will lose a fair amount of value when Hopkins finally does come back. So, your best bet is to hope he balls out beforehand so you can flip him before Week 6.
If you are unable to do so, there is no shame in having to drop him. It happens to a lot of double-digit draft picks. So do not fret about it.
