BALLER MOVE: Pick up and start Week 12

ANALYSIS: It's been a rough season for quarterbacks. But if injuries and poor play have done anything beside make fantasy owners scratch their heads in annoyance, it has opened opportunities elsewhere to unlikely producers. Enter Kirk Cousins.
Unclear whether Robert Griffin III would play this season, Cousins has certainly impressed at times in his first full season as starting quarterback. He's thrown for at least one touchdown and has completed at least 20 passes in each game. Although, Cousins' performances have been based on his matchups thus far. Against each leaky defense of the New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Philadelphia Eagles, Cousins dropped over 20 fantasy points. Against the New England Patriots, New York Jets, and Carolina Panthers, stronger defenses, Cousins remained under 10 points or barely broke the ten-point seal.
Facing the New York Giants this week proves to be another excellent opportunity for Cousins. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Giants relinquish the fourth most fantasy points to quarterbacks and allow an NFL-worst 309.9 passing yards per game. Cousins should not be started weekly but is a valuable asset when facing the right opponent. He is a QB1 this week.
