The right fielder will likely be in the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Atlanta Braves as the Padres try to avoid the three-game sweep.

The 24-year-old has been sidelined since May 10 with tendinitis in his left wrist. Myers has only played in 32 games in his first season with San Diego after being traded over from the Tampa Rays during the offseason. He had a .291 BA with 5 HR and 19 RBI before the injury.
In 15 plate appearances during a three-game minor league rehab assignment with Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas, Myers had five hits and one homer.
He’ll likely start, but will join a deep outfield for the Padres that features the Upton brothers, Matt Kemp and Will Venable.
