Will Harris (RP, HOU) - Waiver Wire Pickups

Baller Move: Add in all leagues

Owned in: 58% of Fleaflicker leagues

Analysis: With a 0.63 ERA, 1.65 FIP, 0.802 WHIP, 1.9 BB/9, 9.4 K/9, and zero HR allowed in 28.2 IP with the Astros this season, Will Harris has been nearly unhittable.  He's currently striking out  27.3% of the batters he faces and is only walking 5.5%. Opponents have only been getting strikes on foul ball contact off of Harris 19.6% of the time, which is 7.6% less frequent than the MLB average and is a full 10.5% less than Harris's 2015 rate. When facing Harris, opponents have been getting strikes looking about 31.3% of the time, which is 2.5% more than were called for Harris in 2015, but a real difference maker is the percentage of swinging strikes. The MLB average is 16.4%. Last season Harris produced a 15.6% swinging strike percentage. This year, opponents are swinging and missing at 22.2% of Will Harris strikes. Will Harris is now in the closer's role for Houston, and this season, batters are failing to find a way to even touch Harris. His dominance should continue, and fantasy owners should take notice for as long as it does.
