Yahoo! Quarterback - Week 7 DFS Picks
Andy Dalton (vs CLE, $31)
There are a bunch of solid options this week at QB and over at Yahoo my favorite is probably Andy Dalton because he's such a solid value play. Dalton is the 10th ranked fantasy QB this season despite the fact that only 22.7% of his fantasy output has come from TD throws. That mark is the lowest in the league and I think that it changes this week as Andy and the Bengals get to face a Browns team that has allowed multiple TD passes in every game this season.
Blake Bortles (vs OAK, $35)
When in doubt go with whomever is playing against the Raiders passing defense because they're softer than a teddy bear. Thus far this season Oakland has allowed the most yards total and yards per game while also allowing the third highest passer rating. Blake is prone to throwing interceptions, but it seems less likely against this defense. The fact that Bortles has run for 90 yards and a TD is also worth noting because the Raiders have allowed the third most rushing yards this season as well. I think Bortles has a nice day passing the ball and probably has some decent rushing stats as well, to go along with 2-3 TD's. He's a great player to pair with Jaguars WR Allen Robinson.
Yahoo! Running Backs - Week 7 DFS Picks
Jacquizz Rodgers (at SF, $17)
Jacquizz had a huge game in week 6 as he was the feature back for the Buccaneers and totaled 101 rushing yards and also had five receptions for 28 yards as well. This week Rodgers and the Buccaneers are facing an awful 49ers defense that has allowed the most rushing attempts and points to opposing backfields this season. With Doug Martin out look for Rodgers to again have a big day at a fairly cheap rate.
DeMarco Murray (vs IND, $38)
DeMarco Murray has the second most touches in the NFL over the past month and that bodes well as he faces a Colts defense that has allowed over 420 yards per game the past three weeks. As the Titans look to control the clock and keep the ball away from Andrew Luck, I expect them to give Murray a ton of carries as a result. Seeing as how Indianapolis has allowed a top 20 RB line seven times already this season I expect those carries to be quite fruitful.
Yahoo! Wide Receivers - Week 7 DFS Picks
A.J. Green (vs CLE, $37)
As I noted above with Dalton, I love the Bengals passing attack this week against the soft Browns pass defense that has already allowed four top ten WR weeks this season, which is tied for the most in the league. Because Green has been fairly quiet the past two weeks his ownership may be down despite the great matchup. Join me and get AJ into all of your lineups this week.
Pierre Garcon (at DET, $17)
Garcon had a solid game in week six with Jordan Reed out as he was targeted 11 times and managed to pull down six of those passes for 77 yards. This is important because it was Garcon's highest yardage total on the season thus far and it appears that Reed will again be out this week. Also worth noting is that DeSean Jackson is questionable this week, and if he doesn't play either Garcon could have a ton of targets against a very soft Detroit passing defense.
Yahoo! Tight End - Week 7 DFS Picks
Dennis Pitta (at NYJ, $18)
The Jets have allowed five or more receptions to four different TE's thus far this season and Pitta has eight more targets in four of six games. While Dennis has yet to score a TD this season, I think that changes this week and he gets into the end zone at least once.
Yahoo! Defense - Week 7 DFS Picks
Baltimore Ravens D/ST (at NYJ, $17)
The Ravens have allowed the fewest redzone opportunities per game this season, as well as the third fewest rushing points per game to opposing RBs. When that is combined with the fact that the Jets have gained zero yards or lost yardage on 32.7% of their runs this season it appears that they'll have to throw the football to have any chance of winning. Seeing as how they're starting Geno Smith this week that is probably going to result in a few interceptions or fumbles, or both. I love the Ravens D/ST this week and so should you.
