Zach LaVine (vs DEN, $5,500)
Jameer Nelson, Darren Collison and Patrick Beverley are all cheaper than LaVine and all have plus matchups in their respective games, so all three could be owned heavily in all formats. Even LaVine’s teammate Ricky Rubio looks like a solid play. But if you’re trying to win a tournament, you gotta select a guy that perhaps no one else will have. LaVine has dropped at least 25 DKFP in seven of his last nine games and with Rubio still being Rubio, i.e. playing erratic minutes that mostly drop below 30 while still a breakaway away from tearing an ACL, LaVine has monster upside when playing with the first unit.
