BALLER MOVE: Add in 14+ Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 10% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: After a great string of outings leading up to Indianapolis’ bye week, Zach Pascal came out of that resting time booming and posted his best game of the year against Houston in Week 7 to the tune of 106 yards and a couple of touchdowns for 28.6 fantasy points. We all went crazy about it, added him to our rosters, and left on the cold this past weekend.
Zach Pascal had his worst game of the year (in which he was targeted at least once) against Denver in Week 8. He could only catch a pass for six yards and his 1.6 points let down more than one fantasy GM. But I’m seeing it as a fluke. Pascal has been targeted two or more times in his last five games, has always finished with a reception, and in three matches he has caught balls for more than 50 yards. He has three touchdowns to his name already and Brissett is as good as anyone tossing touchdowns in the NFL.
While T.Y. Hilton is the clear go-to receiver in Indianapolis, Pascal should get back to his old ways soon enough and rebound in no time. This could be, in fact, a good time to add him from waivers after he has had just one of his only two bad games this season. I’m not saying Pascal should become one of your weekly starters at any WR slot, but Indianapolis is entering a four-week span of facing below-average teams at fantasy points per game allowed to the position that culminates in Week 12 against Houston (the worst team at it). Pascal is rostered in just one out of ten leagues yet he’s the no. 2 option of his offense at the receiver position, so if you play in any deep, 14+ team league, consider adding him and put him at the WR3/flex spot.
