BALLER MOVE: Add in 12- and 14-Team Leagues
OWNED IN: 36% Yahoo!
ANALYSIS: Zack Wheeler took a two-season hiatus following 2015 Tommy John surgery, but is finally back on the mound for the Mets, and has actually been one of their more reliable starters. Through eight starts, the 26-year-old righty owns a 3.74 ERA, a 21.7 percent strikeout rate and a 10.9 percent walk rate. He has fallen victim to the long ball a bit (14.7 percent HR/FB), but has limited opposing batters to just a .222 average. Wheelers’s splits don’t necessarily lend themselves to a strict streaming situation, but he is a viable option in NL-only and deep mixed formats.
