Cameron Maybin (OF, DET) - 2016 Fantasy Baseball Sleepers

BALLER MOVE: Target ~240

CURRENT ADP: 285.5

ANALYSIS: Cameron Maybin has now come full circle with his career, as he returns to the Detroit Tigers after an impressive 2015 campaign with the Atlanta Braves. Maybin was one of the few bright spots on a dysfunctional Atlanta roster, playing above-average defense and swiping 23 bags (tied-10th among OF). He had gotten off to fast start, compiling a .289 average in the first half with eight home runs and 15 SB.

Injuries derailed his second half, but that means he shouldn't be incredibly sought after heading into 2016. Detroit is a much better fantasy situation than Atlanta, as he joins an offense consisting of Ian Kinsler, Miguel Cabrera, J.D. Martinez, Justin Upton and Victor Martinez. Steamer doesn't believe Maybin will stay healthy, projecting a .263/.322/.382 split with a 53/8/46/14 line over 109 games, but if he can play at least 130 games, he can put up a strong stat line.
