The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Jimmy Butler OVER 20.5 Points - I'll start off tonight's slate with Jimmy Butler's points prop. While Butler has only hit this number in six of his last ten games, he has hit this number in three straight. Butler finished with just 15 points last time out against Detroit, but I see him bouncing back in this one. The Pistons rank 25th in small forward efficiency and allow +2.66 points over average to the position. My early projections have Butler finishing with 24.72 points in this one, so we're getting very good value at this number.
Jerami Grant OVER 3.5 Rebounds - Grant has been hitting this number consistently of late, logging at least four rebounds in four of his last five games. The matchup against Miami isn't the easiest, as Miami ranks ninth in power forward efficiency and allows -0.16 rebounds under the league average. However, the trends are in our favor here and I do have Grant projected for 4.17 rebounds tonight, so there is some value on this play.
Kyle Lowry OVER 6.5 Assists - With just a four-game slate, it's difficult to find value, however, I'm really liking this Miami-Detroit matchup. Lowry has hit this number in four of his last five games and has hit this number in two of the previous three games against Detroit this season. We're getting solid "sportsbook" value here, as most books I'm looking at now have this prop at -130 and higher. The Pistons rank 25th in point guard efficiency and allow +0.87 assists over average to point guards. I have Lowry projected for 7.71 assists tonight, creating another strong value play coming out of this matchup.
Other Recommendations - Kevin Durant OVER 28.5 Points, Kyrie Irving OVER 24.5 Points, Andre Drummond OVER 11 Rebounds, Franz Wagner OVER 13.5 Points
