Abraham Ancer Needs A Good Finish At Valspar
3 years agoIt was another finish outside the top 30 for Abraham Ancer last week at the Players Championship, making for six straight finishes of that kind for Ancer. His last PGA Tour finish inside the top 30 came back in early November at Mayakoba. However, something has to give this week. In two career starts at the Copperhead Course, Ancer has finished no worse than 16th and as high as fifth last season. So the question becomes, what will win the day? Can Ancer overcome his poor play at a course he has found success at? It is possible, but with his DFS price, the risk likely outweighs the reward. Ancer is losing strokes in five of the six major categories. Stay away from him this week.
