2 years agoAdam Scott put up a surprising T5 finish last week at the FedEx St. Jude after struggling at the course throughout his entire career. That came a week after Scott finished T76 at a course Scott has had major success at in Sedgefield Country Club. However, this week, course history isn't a factor for Scott as it's a first-time course on the PGA Tour. Scott does have some work to do if he wants to find himself at the Tour Championship next week, as he sits 155 points outside the top-30. If his game is any indication, and the projections for the course are correct, Scott should have a fair chance to make up those points. Scott sits inside the top-55 on tour in proximity to the hole, strokes gained on approach, and strokes gained putting. Last week, Scott gained well over a stroke on the greens, which is good momentum to carry into this week.
