Ja Morant Won't Play On Sunday
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies guard Ja Morant (knee) isn't available for Sunday's bout versus the Houston Rockets. The MVP candidate is currently dealing with knee soreness, which forced him out of Friday's game against the Atlanta Hawks. He's also been plagued by back issues as well. Fortunately, the Grizzlies won't play another one until Wednesday in Brooklyn, so with some additional rest, there's a chance Morant could be back by then. In the meantime, Tyus Jones, who's averaged 11.8 points, 6.5 assists, and 1.2 steals through 15 starts on the year, will likely take his place in the lineup. As a result, Jones will unquestionably be a popular value option in DFS lineups.
