Julius Randle Will Miss Tuesday’s Contest
3 years agoNew York Knicks power forward Julius Randle (quad) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Hawks due to right quad soreness. It marks Randle's third absence of the season, and first since Jan. 2. Obi Toppin figures to see elevated minutes without Randle, while RJ Barrett, Evan Fournier, and Alec Burks are all in line for more offensive opportunities against an Atlanta defense that ranks in the bottom five of the league in defensive efficiency. Randle is one of just four players in the league to average at least 20 points and 10 rebounds per game this season, as he has been integral to New York's nightly production. His next chance to suit up comes Wednesday vs. Charlotte.
