3 years agoGolden State Warriors point guard Jordan Poole continued to embrace his ever-widening role within the team's offense during Tuesday's defeat to Orlando, as he dropped a game-high 26 points. Poole has now reached the 20-point plateau in 10 straight outings, a stretch in which he is averaging 25.2 PPG. In addition to his 23 shot attempts, Poole also added six assists and two rebounds, enjoying his elevated role due to Stephen Curry's (foot) absence. With Curry likely down until the postseason, Poole figures to carry heavy offensive workloads most nights, especially when Klay Thompson sits out during a back-to-back, which figures to be the case Wednesday against the Heat.--Jesse Borek
