3 years agoToronto Raptors guard Fred VanVleet (knee) did not return to Saturday's matchup against the Indiana Pacers. VanVleet's ailing right knee is fine. However, after the contest was suspended in the second quarter because of a fire in one of the arena's speakers, team medical personnel didn't want him back on the floor when the game resumed, primarily after cooling off during the extended pause in play. Nonetheless, with the Raptors looking to sneak into the postseason, VanVleet will likely be back in full-swing on Monday night versus the visiting Boston Celtics.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
