Jaren Jackson Jr. Will Miss Monday’s Contest
3 years agoMemphis Grizzlies power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. (thigh) has been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Warriors due to a sore right thigh. The absence marks just the second of the year for Jackson, paving the way for Brandon Clarke (hip) and Kyle Anderson to play elevated roles in the frontcourt. Jackson enters Monday leading the league in blocks per game (2.3), in addition to snagging a career-best 5.8 boards on a nightly basis. The next opportunity for Jackson to return to action comes Wednesday against San Antonio.
