Evan Mobley Exits Monday’s Contest Early With Ankle Injury
3 years agoCleveland Cavaliers power forward/center Evan Mobley (ankle) has been ruled out for the remainder of Monday's game against Orlando due to a sprained left ankle. Mobley played just 13 minutes prior to his exit, finishing with six points on 3-for-3 shooting with three rebounds. Cleveland is already short-handed in the frontcourt with Jarrett Allen (finger) down, with Mobley's absence likely to funnel more minutes and offensive responsibility in the direction of Kevin Love and Lauri Markkanen. One of the leading candidates for the Rookie of the Year, Mobley entered the night averaging 15 points and 8.3 boards this year. His next chance to take the floor comes Wednesday vs. the Mavericks, the first game of a back-to-back.
