Logan Webb Starting In A Minor League Game On Saturday
3 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Logan Webb is starting in a minor league game on Saturday in his final tune-up before Opening Day, according to Evan Webeck of The Mercury News. Webeck noted that the plan is for Webb to pitch five innings in his start. The 25-year-old was named as the Giants Opening Day starter earlier in the week and will look to build on his breakout 2021 season. The right-handed hurler put up a rock-solid 11-3 record, 3.03 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a 158:36 K:BB over 148 1/3 innings (26 starts). He should be a reliable starter in fantasy leagues this upcoming season.
