Joel Embiid Reclaims Scoring Title Lead With 45-Point Outing
3 years agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid vaulted himself back into first place in the league in scoring following a dominant 45-point effort in a win over Indiana on Tuesday. Embiid is closing the 2021-22 regular season on an offensive flurry, having averaged 36.8 points over his last six games. The MVP candidate fired up 30 field-goal attempts (making 18) for the second time this season and added 13 rebounds and two assists to tie a knot on his elite performance. With the 76ers still jockeying for playoff position, fantasy managers can expect Embiid to go all-out again Thursday vs. the Raptors, whom he was kept under wraps against (6-for-20 shooting) back on March 20.
