Tyler Herro Drops Career-High 35 Points Off Bench
3 years agoMiami Heat shooting guard Tyler Herro helped lead a historic three-point barrage in Tuesday's win over the Hornets. Herro knocked down six of Miami's franchise-record 23 triples, as one of the leading candidates for the Sixth Man of the Year finished with a career-best 35 points on 11-for-18 shooting overall. The outing marked the sixth time this year that Herro has knocked down six threes, indicative of his nightly upside when his shot is falling. The 22-year-old is on pace to set career highs this year across the board, including: 20.8 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.7 made triples per game. After a rocky postseason last year (9.3 PPG), Herro will be looking to flip the script this time around.
