3 years agoThe 2021-22 season has officially come to an end for Los Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (foot) and point guard Russell Westbrook (shoulder), who have been ruled out for Sunday's game against Denver. The duo had missed the two previous outings after the team was officially eliminated from postseason contention, paving the way for Stanley Johnson, Malik Monk, and Talen Horton-Tucker to all take on significantly elevated offensive roles. Davis finishes the year just shy of averaging a double-double with 23.2 points and 9.9 rebounds, while Westbrook's overall numbers slid significantly from last season with 18.5 points, 7.4 boards, and 7.1 assists per outing.
