3 years agoChicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (rest) and point/shooting guard Alex Caruso (back) have been ruled out for Sunday's game against Minnesota. Vucevic and Caruso join leading scorers DeMar DeRozan (rest) and Zach LaVine (rest) on the sidelines, paving the way for Chicago's second unit to take on significantly increased offensive roles against the league's top team in terms of pace. Vucevic's scoring average dipped to just 17.6 PPG this year, but he averaged a double-double for the fourth consecutive campaign. Caruso was limited to just 41 games (18 starts) due to myriad injuries, and his status for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference playoffs remains unclear. Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu would see elevated roles if Caruso is sidelined beyond Sunday.--Jesse Borek
