Amir Coffey Drops Career-High 35 Points, First Double-Double
3 years agoLA Clippers small/power forward Amir Coffey enjoyed the best all-around performance of his professional career during Sunday's win over Oklahoma City. Coffey shifted into the starting five and took advantage of his 43 minutes played to compile a career-high 35 points to go along with the first double-double of his career. Coffey shot 13-for-22 overall, including going 7-for-10 from deep, while snatching 13 boards and dishing out five assists. The 24-year-old's playing time was sporadic throughout the regular season, but with Paul George and Norman Powell back in the mix, Coffey is unlikely to hold DFS relevance if the team advances beyond the Play-In Tournament. He finishes the year having averaged nine PPG across 69 contests (30 starts).
