Chris Paul Drops 30-Point Double-Double In Game 1 Win
3 years agoPhoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul kicked off his participation in the 2022 playoffs with a dominant 30-point, 10-assist showing in Sunday's victory over New Orleans. Paul delivered four postseason double-doubles during Phoenix's run to the NBA Finals last year, and he's already off on the right foot, having added seven rebounds and three steals for a night of enormous fantasy production. (His last 30-point playoff double-double came May 8, 2018, while with the Rockets.) Paul shot 12-for-16 from the field overall, including going 4-for-6 from behind the arc, dominating a New Orleans backcourt that doesn't appear to have a ready-made answer to slowing the 12-time All-Star. The 36-year-old is likely to incur a significant DFS price jump ahead of Game 2 on Tuesday.
