Welcome back to another edition of the FREE DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks. We have a massive 11-game slate on DK, and a 10-game slate on FD as DK has added game 2 of the AZ/WAS doubleheader. First, we have some great pitching options in Burnes, Walker Buehler, Framber Valdez, Joe Musgrove, and more. It is a loaded slate on the mound, but I have narrowed things down to my liking. Mixing and matching on the mound and playing the roster rate game could come in handy on such a huge slate.
Most will look to Coors Field for their bats, which is fine, but there are other great spots. In Kansas City, we have Hernandez and Archer facing off, which means a lot of pitch to contact that could lead to some fantasy goodness. The Twins are super cheap on DK for some reason, which makes them even more appealing. If you feel frisky, a very affordable Braves stack versus Buehler has a ton of tournament appeal. With 11 games on tap, there will be many games to go. Keep an eye on the weather and lock and load on some of the tasty offensive goodness.
This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for Fanduel and DraftKings on 4/19/2022. The lineup will range from some elite players to mid-priced options, and value plays. DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Joe Musgrove - P, SD vs. CIN ($8,600 DK, $11,000 FD)
Musgrove has been outstanding to start the season. He has thrown at least six innings in each of his starts with six and eight strikeouts. He has only allowed two runs total to go with a 31.1% K-BB as Musgrove is yet to walk a batter this season. Musgrove will face a Reds team striking out 27.4% of the time versus RHP heading into Monday with a .181 batting average and .109 ISO against. Musgrove has been dominant thus far and will face a Reds offense that appears to be stuck in quicksand. Musgrove is a massive deal on DK, but he is the most expensive pitcher on FD, making him a super low rostered contrarian play off Burnes.
Kyle Gibson - P, PHI at COL ($6,600 DK, $8,300 FD)
After seven shutout innings with ten strikeouts versus the A's, Gibson had trouble with the Marlins. He threw 4.2 innings, allowing four runs, but did strike out six. So far this season, Gibson is allowing a hard-hit rate of 29.2% with an incredible 19.1% SwStr and 30.2% K-BB. He will head into Coors Field tonight, which will make him a contrarian play. I love gambles in Coors like Gibson, who we know can get rocked, but he can also pitch well and rack up the strikeouts. He will face a Rockies team that is striking out nearly 23% versus RHP this season, and Gibson will try to add to that on his way to a sneaky excellent tournament play.
Other options: Corbin Burnes vs. PIT ($10,500 DK, $10,800 FD), Patrick Sandoval at HOU ($6,900 DK, $8,500 FD), Cole Irvin vs. BAL ($6,300 DK, $7,100 FD)

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Ty France - 1B/2B, SEA vs. Jon Gray ($4,000 DK, $3,200 FD)
France is swinging a hot bat to start the season. He has hit safely in seven of ten games, with a .289 batting average and two home runs. France has a .211 ISO, a .900 OPS, and only strikes out 13.3% of the time. He will face Gray tonight, who only lasted four innings in his first start and allowed three runs. Last year, Gray allowed RHH to hit .258 with 1.4 HR/9. The Mariners won't get much attention tonight, but there could be some sneaky plays against Gray tonight.
Jorge Polanco - 2B/SS, MIN at Carlos Hernandez ($3,600 DK, $3,100 FD)
It has been a slow start to the season for most Twins not named Byron Buxton, including Polanco. On Monday, he did go 2-5 with a home run and has now hit safely in five of ten games for a .229 batting average. However, Polanco is better than that, and we will look to take advantage of a very cheap price tag. Heck, the entire Twins team is too cheap. Polanco will take on Hernandez tonight who allowed four runs in 4.1 innings and only one strikeout in his only start this season which came against the Guardians. Hernandez will pitch to a ton of contact, which bodes well for Polanco and his Twins teammates as an excellent value stack.
Manny Machado- 3B, SD vs. Reiver Sanmartin ($4,600 DK, $3,900 FD)
Machado is having a great start to the 2022 season. He had hit safely in seven of 11 games, which is good for a .318 average. In addition, he has a home run and even three stolen bases. When seeing his contact quality, the numbers check out as he is barreling the ball up nearly 7% of the time with a 57.6% hard-hit rate. On Monday night, Machado kept things going with several hits, one being a home run. Machado faces the lefty Sanmartin tonight, and that bodes well as Machado has hit LHP very well in his career. The Padres as a whole have been struggling but do not sleep on Machado and potentially a sneaky Padres stack.
Jorge Mateo- 2B/SS, BAL at Cole Irvin ($2,600 DK, $2,600 FD)
Mateo brings some fun value night in and night out. He has hit safely in six of nine games heading into Monday, suitable for a .269 average. Mateo was able to double on Monday, so the numbers should grow. One of the best things about Mateo is his ability to steal bags. If he can get on base, he can run wild, which he has done this season, being 3 for 3 on steals. He will face Irvin tonight, and so far in his young career, Irvin has been smoked by RHH. Mateo brings a significant value if looking to load up elsewhere tonight.
DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks
Hunter Dozier- 1B/3B/OF, KC vs. Chris Archer ($2,900 DK, $2,700 FD)
This season, Dozier is off to a great start, hitting safely in four of seven games, including three multi-hit games. Dozier is hitting .296 on the season with a home run and only striking out 14.3%. However, when digging deeper on Dozier, he may be underperforming as he is barreling the ball 17.4% of the time to go with a 52.2% hard-hit rate. Nevertheless, Dozier is mashing, and the significant results have yet to follow. We love targeting value like that in DFS, and facing Archer tonight could be quite the ticket to help Dozier have a monster night.
Andrew McCutchen - OF, MIL vs. JT Brubaker ($4,300 DK, $2,800)
On Monday night, McCutchen went 0-4, but heading into Monday had hit safely in eight of ten games with a .282 batting average. He has three doubles, is striking out less than 12% of the time, and has impressively two stolen bases. Each game, McCutchen has either led off or hit cleanup, which bodes well Tuesday night, facing Brubaker. This season, Brubaker has allowed four runs in each of his starts with nine total hits and seven total walks. Brubaker has been beyond bad to start the season, making the Brewers an excellent stack tonight.
Alex Verdugo- OF, BOS vs. Yusei Kikuchi ($4,000 DK, $3,500 FD)
After a 2-4 game on Monday, Verdugo has hit safely in eight of ten games this season for a .333 average. He is locked in and raking with two doubles, three home runs, and an ISO over .340. He is barreling the ball over 14% of the time to go with an excellent 45% hard-hit rate and a very impressive 8.3% strikeout rate. He faces Kikuchi tonight, and most will panic with the lefty on lefty matchup, but do not panic as Verdugo is hitting .270 in his career versus LHP. He has not showcased much power versus lefties, but he can hit them, and the Red Sox should have a lot of fun versus Kikuchi tonight, making Verdugo a cheap piece of the Red Sox action.
DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks
Milwaukee Brewers vs. Pittsburgh Pirates (JT Brubaker, RHP)
Brubaker has been bad to start the season, so load up on the Brewers. Christian Yelich hit a grand slam on Monday, so let's hope he keeps hitting. You can pair Yellich with McCutchen, Kolten Wong, Willy Adames, and even a great value in Rowdy Tellez. Lots of ways to go with the Brewers tonight in one of the better matchups on the slate.
GAME STACK- Minnesota Twins at Kansas City Royals (Chris Archer, RHP at Carlos Hernandez, RHP)
A couple of players from this game were already discussed above due to incredible matchups for both sides. Both pitchers will pitch to a ton of contact and probably will not go deep into the game. However, both teams also have a ton of value, making the stacks very attractive.
San Diego Padres vs. Cincinnati Reds (Reiver Sanmartin, LHP)
The Padres have not dominated much this season, but tonight's matchup versus Sanmartin is a great time to load up. All Padres stacks start with Machado but adding Luke Voit, Austin Nola, and others makes for an intriguing, lowly rostered late-night hammer.
COORS IS DEFINITELY IN PLAY
